Trusting God When You Cannot
See the Way
Bible Verse:
Trust in the LORD with all
thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
Devotional:
Today’s
devotional focuses on "Trusting God in difficult times". The
selected KJV Scripture gives us a biblical foundation for reflecting on this
topic. God’s Word gives us a foundation when we are trying to understand our
circumstances. We may not always know what will happen next, but we can choose
to bring our concerns, questions, hopes, and decisions before the Lord. The
Scripture above reminds us that faith is not simply about having an easy life.
Faith means continuing to trust God when answers are not immediate and when the
path ahead is not completely clear. When we spend time in Scripture and prayer,
our perspective can begin to change. Instead of allowing fear or uncertainty to
control our thoughts, we can remember God’s character, His promises, and His
faithfulness. Let this truth encourage your heart today. God sees what you are
facing, and His Word reminds you that you do not have to walk through life
alone. Today, consider bringing this topic honestly before God. Ask Him for
wisdom, strength, humility, and the ability to follow His Word. You do not need
to have every answer before you take the next faithful step.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your
Word and for the opportunity to seek You today. You know my heart, my concerns,
my hopes, and the situation I am facing. Help me understand Your truth and
apply it to my life. Give me wisdom when I need direction, strength when I feel
weak, peace when I am troubled, and faith when I cannot see the way ahead. Help
me trust Your timing and follow Your ways. Let Your Word shape my thoughts,
decisions, relationships, and actions. Keep my heart close to You and help me
remember Your faithfulness throughout this day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
